ABOUT GOLDEN CITY BREWING:
Golden City Brewery was founded in 1993 by two geologists, Charlie & Janine Sturdavant. They filled the old machine shop behind their historic Golden home with used dairy tanks, and Charlie began brewing German-style ales.
Since that time, the operation has expanded at the same location (still their home). The carriage house has become the the tasting room, the backyard is the beer garden.
About the beer:
Golden City Brewery began canning beer in the summer of 2014. Legendary Red Ale is a German Altbier. This amber colored beer is well-rounded with Munich malt and a heavy dose of German hops. Clear Creek Gold is a Kölsch-style ale. It is light and refreshing with the tang of Czech Saaz hops. Evolution IPA is a British-style India Pale Ale. This 7.8% ABV beer is well-balanced and dry-hopped to perfection
We are excited to announce our official partnership with Epic Experience, an amazing organization that organizes outdoor adventures for individuals fighting cancer. We are opening up 8 charity entries for each event for $50 each. 100% of the entry fee will go to Epic Experience. Please help us support the work they do to help those suffering DO EPIC!
