Does RMBR benefit anything?
A. Why we are glad you asked! We are excited to announce our official partnership with Epic Experience, an amazing organization that organizes outdoor adventures for individuals fighting cancer. We are opening up 5 charity entries for each event for $50 each. 100% of the entry fee will go to Epic Experience. Please help us support the work they do to help those suffering DO EPIC!
Are dogs and strollers allowed?
A. We love when families attend our brew runs together. Kids 12 and under are free (swag and beer not included of course) and strollers/bikes for kids are always allowed on the course but are up to your discretion. These are untimed fun runs and courses will be marked but roads will not be closed and besides several volunteers and a water station, virtually unmaned. You need to make sure to abide all traffic/pedestrian laws during a brew run.
We love when people bring along their 4 legged friends! Dogs are allowed on all the courses and outdoor patios at the breweries (some allow dogs inside too) and we will have local dog shelters and pet companies at each event.
Can I walk a brew run?
A. Of course! We welcome and encourage runners and walkers of all ages and fitness levels to join in on the fun. There will also be water and non-alcoholic beverages for those not of age who wish to participate with friends and family members. Have fun!
What are these "Beer Olympics" games I've been hearing so much about?
A. The run is just the start of the fun! Beer Olympics are a series of Olympic inspired games that involve athleticism, beer drinking and a little bit of silliness.
Challenges this year include:
Keg Haul relay
Beer Balance relay
Corn hole drinking game challenge
CrossFit games squat challenge
Triple jump competition
Make sure you sign up for these games when you arrive, spots go fast! More details about each game HERE.
What is the Haul a growler challenge?
A. Just another fun addition to Brew runs: at select events we will have not one but two water filled growlers ready for one lucky runner to carry. If they can finish the 5k-ish course in under 25 minutes without dropping, spilling or transferring the growlers to someone else they win a growler filled with a beer of their choice!
And the keg?
A. We are challenging a team of two to carry a filled keg for the entire course. If they can finish in under 45 minutes they each win a Brew runs tee and another Brew on us!
What if I want to volunteer?
A. Want to be a part of Brew runs with out the running part? We need a handful of amazing volunteers at each of our events this year. Earn yourself a free beer, swag and partake in all the fun without the sweat! If you or a friend/family member is interested in volunteering have them leave their info HERE and someone will be in touch.
We are also seeking some individuals passionate about Running + Beer who want to join Team Brew! Help us promote and produce our 2017 Brew runs and earn amazing swag, free entries and most importantly FREE BREWS! Learn more HERE.
Do you offer refunds?
A. No, we don't! You can of course transfer your entry to someone else. Send us an email to: firstname.lastname@example.org and we can help you with this.
What is your cancellation policy (due to weather)?
A. We are instituting a strict weather cancellation policy. If it is looking like conditions will make either the drive or event itself unsafe for participants (blizzard or lightening) we will do a Facebook post and send an email out to all registered participants at 6pm the evening before the scheduled run. Please make sure to check either or both of these if you are unsure if the run will be held or rescheduled.
We DO NOT offer refunds if you decide you don't want to come out due to the weather. This is COLORADO people, toughen up! If we can make it out to set up the course then you can make it out to run it. If a run is cancelled due to inclement weather we will do our best to either reschedule within a timely period or refund your entry.
